MIKE BRYANT
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mike founded Barrett Homes in 2013, with a wealth of land development experience behind him, and a vision to contribute to the local building industry and beyond. Renowned as a natural leader, Mike’s background is in earthworks, groundworks and drainage, with a heavy involvement in sales within the building industry.

He loves collaborating with and being inspired by an innovative, world-class team of land development specialists. Mike firmly believes in giving back to the communities EB develops, with a philanthropic philosophy of ‘if you can help, then you should.’

GRANT EYNON
DIRECTOR

As the chairman of our board, Grant is well-known around the Bay for being heavily involved in the Kiwifruit industry. He became an EastPack Director in 2000, a former NZKGI forum member and its former Chairman, as well as former member of Kiwifruit New Zealand. He was a Kelloggs Rural Leadership Scholar in 2000 and a member of The Kiwifruit Claim Grower Committee.

KARL BRYANT
Development Design Manager

Karl is a great asset to the EB Development team with both architectural and structural engineering experience.

Karl has an eye for detail and prides himself with excellent communication skills, great work ethic, the ability to handle pressure and is professional and able to make good judgements.

CYRUS TUPORO
Architectual designer

Cyrus is a qualified Architectural Designer with more 18 years’ experience in a wide range of projects throughout New Zealand ranging from renovations, group home building, architectural residential, Early Childcare and industrial warehouse commercial projects.

Cyrus is passionate about design and has a keen eye for detail with the technical aspects of a project ensuring the designs are functional and meet the needs of the client. Cyrus’s experience across the industry allows him to creatively solve complex issues with practical solutions.

Natalia saraiva
Architectual designer

Natalia completed her National Diploma in Architectural Technology in 2016 and had the opportunity to work closely with great leaders in the industry. Designing is Natalia’s absolute passion and enjoys the variety her role offers and the different facets that architecture/design provides.

Natalia prides herself on aiming to create positive changes for clients and the community, find functional solutions for complex designs without compromising on the overall look, and continually developing her design skill set. 

TRISTAN SHANNON
LAND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Tristan has qualifications in land surveying, civil engineering and quantity surveying and has been involved in land development in Australia and NZ for over 10 years.

Tristan has extensive experience and knowledge of the whole land development process from feasibility studies, resource consenting, construction through to the titles being issued.

L'vonne Maxwell
Accountant

Starting her career in the banking industry, L’Vonne later moved into accounting working for various types of businesses.  

Over the past 10 years, L’Vonne specialised in the housing & land development sector.

L’Vonne enjoys being part of a team that brings these developments to fruition and to see great communities created.

Glenn parker
Commercial Quantity Surveyor

Glenn is EB’s right hand man when it comes to Quantity Surveying. Glenn has been involved in all facets of the Building Industry including Residential, Commercial, Main Contractor, and Freelance QS Practices.

Glenn is a NZIQS Member who holds a New Zealand Diploma in Construction.

Glenn enjoys working closely with our Architectural and Construction Management teams to deliver practical and effective solutions to our clients.

Jonny cooper
Commercial project manager

Jonny has been in the building industry for over 20 years, firstly as a builder for 15 years, leading into three years as a Project Manager and two years as Operations Manager.

Jonny currently is EB’s lead commercial construction manager in our Commercial and high-density Residential Sector.

Helen gradwell
Personal Assistant

Helen’s background consists of Retail Management, Recruitment and Sales Development. Helen joined the EB team after spending years in the commercial fashion manufacturing industry.  With multiple qualifications in Fashion Design and a Bachelor in Business Management, she majored in Marketing, from the University of Waikato, 2020.

Property has always been of interest to Helen. I enjoy all facets of land development and construction industry.  

 

Katy barr
Personal Assistant

After studying and working as a Graphic Designer for several years, Katy’s interests shifted – and it was helping others in their roles with her attentive nature and supporting business growth that formed a new path for her. For the best part of 15 years, Katy has successfully fulfilled Executive and Personal Assistant roles both in NZ and abroad. It is the diversity and challenges that arise from such roles that keep her dedicated.

Prior to joining the team at EB Developments, Katy had spent 5 years supporting Mike in his hectically energetic role as Managing Director of Barrett Homes and the wider Barrett Group, so the transition to follow Mike across to EB was refreshing. 

Since starting a family of her own in 2018, work (and life) now looks a bit different than it did back in 2016 when she joined the group. Now juggling two girls, a family business and a part time role, life is busy yet very rewarding for Katy.
